fire, walk with me to the local blockbuster

okay, so i know i’m like thirteen years late, but you can’t blame me. when ‘twin peaks’ first aired, i was only 11 years-old. far too young to watch such mature television. but, never fear. two weeks ago i discovered the television greatness that is, ‘twin peaks’. luckily i have an older boyfriend to guide me through these phenomenons that i’m too young to have experienced for myself back in the early ‘90s.

so how great is this show? i have to warn you that i’m only on episode 5 so don’t give anything away. but this show is addictive. i love it and truly wish that there was awesome television like this on today. and who knew that i was a kyle mclachlan fan? most of his stuff sucks but he’s so great in this. and lara flynn boyle is actually pretty when she weighs more than 100 pounds. of course, the actor who plays sheriff harry truman was always a favorite of mine from the ally sheedy classic ‘maid to order’, but in this he’s even better. (if you can believe it). same thing goes for the actor who plays bobby who was truly mesmerizing in ‘she’s out of control’ but who’s good in this too.

i’m off to watch the rest of season one. wish me luck.
