i'll never forget you angela chase

since i've seen it around the World Wide Web lately, i present to you, my favorite television characters. (that i can think of right...NOW.)

TOP 15 TELEVISION CHARACTERS
in no particular order...

1. Agent Dale Cooper - Twin Peaks
a great show but an even better character. his love of coffee made me excited to try pour my first cup every day.

2. Jim - The Office
not a "hot" man but so endearing. the jokes he plays and the looks he gives the camera make my heart melt.

3. Logan Echolls - Veronica Mars
pretty obvious choice since i love the sarcastic boys. which brings me to my next choice...

4. Josh Lyman - The West Wing
the show went downhill quickly but bradley whitford's character has consistently been funny and well-written.

5. Sam Malone - Cheers
sure, every single character is a stand-out on this show which is why it is probably the best sitcom ever. but, i hate to say it, ted danson's character is pretty damn funny.

6. Fox Mulder - The X-Files
some of my favorite episodes were the satirical funny ones and those are the ones i remember mulder from. deadpan, sarcastic, dry, witty. awesome.

7. Franco - Rescue Me
i've talked about how quality this show is and truly every character is fantastically well-written. but there's something about franco's really quick snappy comebacks that makes him the best part of every hour.

8. Stringer Bell - the Wire
now HERE is a show with great writing. stringer's character arc last season was an amazing thing to watch.

9. Carmelo Soprano - the Sopranos
i wanted to say that tony was my favorite character but i couldn't bring myself to. though maybe he is. but last season carmela blew me out of the water with all of the divorce and fighting with her husband. just some amazing raw emotions.

10. Beecher - Oz
ahh, Oz. how i miss thee.

11. Ari Gold - Entourage
really not a good show. in fact, sometimes a terrible show. but i think i keep tuning in because ari has some great one-liners and is a pretty damn accurate portrayal of an agent.

12. Alex P. Keaton - Family Ties
before i knew much about politics and parties and the nation's ugly divide, i was laughing at alex p. keaton. now there's a quality character that makes you laugh.

13. Christina Yang - Grey's Anatomy
my husband doesn't like this character but i think i like her so much because i relate to her. is that wrong? her competitive nature, the control freak in her, her lack of...shall we say bubbliness? is that a word?

14. Angela Chase - My So-Called Life
she was there through some formative high school years. i'll always love her for that.

15. Al Swearengen - Deadwood
he uses "fuck" in more ways than i could ever imagine.
