farenheit 9/11

not much to say about this movie. well, not much to discuss if you haven't seen it. so get out there and see it. it's good. very upsetting but good. yes, i cried. okay, fine. i cried a lot. and yes, during one part i was scared to death that i was going to lose it and and start audibly sobbing which just would have been wrong in a packed audience full of LA trucker hats and mini skirts. but still, i admire their dedication. because when john and i went to the 10:30am saturday showing, we sure as hell didn't think it'd be sold out. so check it out. not quite as good as "bowling for columbine"....but definitely a must see.

in other weekend news....i got a slight sunburn on my back yesterday while at the beach, i sat at a bar in a wet skirt for 4 hours after a wave attacked me, i enjoyed the tastebud brilliance that is camarones negros at cha cha cha, i wandered the aisles at target, i had my favorite breakfast in town at lulu's, and i managed to avoid spending more than 30 minutes in my apartment friday, saturday, and sunday. not that that's a good thing. i am paying rent there.
