a runner with the olympic torch ran right past my office building today. tons of people lined the streets and waved flags as it went by. it got me thinking about our country and patriotism and our place in the world.

ha. just joking. it just made me think about how pissed i was that i didn't get to see the leg of the journey with tom cruise or sly stallone or jennifer aniston. so sad.
