abandonment

tonight i drop my significant other/roommate off at the airport. he'll be back home for a total of 3 weeks. 21 days. that's a long time. luckily, i'll be back east for 9 days of that trip. but i'm still sad. i'll miss him. BUT there might be some advantages. one, i'll get the whole bed to myself. the whole stinking bed to stretch out in. i can't imagine. two, i'll get to clean up and explore my OCD side. and three, i get to finally watch all of the made-for-TV christmas movies that i've been tivo'ing. i literally think there's about 5 of them. that's a lot of hours. some of the one's i'm really looking forward to include 'karroll's christmas' with wallace shawn and verne troyer...'a carol christmas' starring tori spelling and gary coleman....and 'an unlikely angel' featuring miss dolly parton. quality, no?
