earning a paycheck

While I have been enjoying my time off immensely, I got a call from my old boss asking me a favor. Someone on his staff left quite suddenly and he asked me to fill in. So here I am, day one at DTJ: Tampa. Well, that's not really what it's called. But I can't go around just name dropping one of CBS' top rated shows. Part of a dynasty of shows really. I know at least one of my blog readers loves this show. Can't figure out why, except that it seems insanely cheesy. I read one episode script and just cracked up everytime the main character had an "scene out" line. I did get to go down to the set today and saw the fairly cool and sleek headquarters set. And saw a petite blonde acting very serious as she performed an autopsy.
As much fun as this is though, I can't wait to leave. There's nothing good about walking into an established crew of about 100 people, some of whom have been here for 5 years. I prefer to start fresh so I can establish my greatness early.
