lessons from abroad

okay, not really abroad, but san francisco. before i forget all about my trip to san francisco, i just wanted to share with you the valuable knowledge that i learned there:
1. yes, some 25 year olds still do wear body glitter
2. never, ever, pay 20 dollars to get into any place that isn't giving out free alcohol
3. be wary of the haight/ashbury homeless....when you tell them that you're sorry you can't give them money, they will yell at you
4. the los angeles amoeba records is better than the san francisco one
5. the best gelato on earth exists in the bay area
6. it's not a good idea to pass out on some strange guy's couch
7. a mexican party bus serving tequila shots is never a good idea
8. girls who try on too many outfits before going out aren't going to catch any guys
9. i don't care what purse matches that dress
10. a girl will get hit on more in san francisco than LA because they don't have as many gorgeous model/actress types.
11. without tivo, you're nothing
12. taking an entire hour to find a parking space is not an impossibility
13. don't trust drunk guys from torrey pines
14. 'blue crush' is actually a pretty entertaining movie
15. people can exist without cars by 'walking'
