here comes the bride

what can i say? one of my own is married. Well, not my daughter or anything, but a member of the pq posse – my beloved group of high school friends. Yup, carolyn (check her out over at sugaryabuse.blogspot.com) is married. It doesn’t seem real. We all suspected that she would get engaged when she left to visit her boyfriend last week in guam. But no one imagined that she would actually get married there! she’s the first of us to get married and i want to give her a big CONGRATULATIONS shout out. she and orlando are a wonderful couple and some of my favorite people. of course, i’m pissed at her because i didn’t get to get hammered in a bridesmaid’s dress and make a fool of myself at some swanky reception hall, but she promises that will happen in a year or two. and i’m going to hold her to that. so congratulations and best wishes to carolyn and orlando!! may they be as happy as me after 7 captain and cokes!!!
