claude debussy and technotronic
i've been told i need to write a new blog because a certain friend is very bored at work. but the reason i haven't written anything is because i really don't have much to write.
i guess i could write about how i'm currently listening to "my" new satellite radio which the product placement woman gave to my boss who, in turn, put it on my desk saying he didn't want it. i think that means it's mine now. which i'm all for because satellite radio is rad. i love it. i don't see how i'll go back. tons and tons of commercial-free channels which all have different niches they fill. my favorites so far are the 40s, popular classical, the 90s (because i haven't heard "move this" since the 8th grade), on broadway, and cinemagic.
i could also write about what's been going on in my life...what makes me happy, sad, mad, frustrated. but that's not exciting. especially since the highlight of my day is generally the truly excellent salad i make for myself at the gelson's salad bar. i have fine-tuned the perfect combination of lettuce, mushrooms, corn, broccoli, beets, lima beans, and approximately 5 to 6 pieces of pasta. i really do feel like i am at the pinnacle of salad making.
i could even write about death and suicide and marriage and fidelity. but those things are wayyy to heavy as we head into a holiday weekend. so i'm left with radio, salads, and...oh yeah, i'm wearing an awesome new red shirt today.
