naughty

so yeah, san francisco was pretty fun.
and yeah, i still feel bad for firing the assistant but now i'm happier without him here.

but, more importantly, i woke up this morning and started thinking about what i did last night. it was a little hazy. i know i went to azami to eat the best sushi in the world. i know that it was a special occasion because it was sanelibs' birthday. i remember savoring the yellowtail and albacore and snapper and halibut and everything else. i remember loving the first couple shots of warm sake. and that's when it gets a little fuzzy.

we finished the warm sake and then discovered this magical cold sake that was milky and wonderful and tasty. finished that too. then we got in kevin's car and he started driving home. he stopped at a red light and didn't turn right because he thought this bicycle was going to cross the street. so he wasn't making a right on red. but who cares? that's when this asshole in an SUV behind him honked. in a belligerent move that i learned from my dear fiance, i flung up my arm and flipped the guy off through the rear window. but it was so casual and brief...whatever. then we get to the next turn and this SUV with jet ski bumper stickers and this asshole inside wearing a hawaiian shirt says, "yo, did you just flip me off?" brian, drunk himself and smoking a cigarette, says, "no way man." kevin, realized that he could probably take this jerk-off, says, "what if we did? what are you going to do about it?" (i have a feeling at this point that kevin was also a little buzzed from the many beers and sake but as he was my designated driver, i refuse to hypothesize.) as they got worked up i felt it was only fair to tell them that, yes, indeed, i did give the guy the finger. but he totally deserved it. and who pulls people over to the side of the road to confront them about it? sort of makes me think twice about throwing up my finger so quickly when i'm all alone in the car. without two big, strong men with me. okay, at least two men with me.
