end of an era
The era in question being the renaissance of television that was "The Wire". Its last episode ever aired last night and it was bittersweet. With the end of the Sopranos and now The Wire, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to look forward to on Sunday nights. While the last season was the weakest of the five, it was still damn good TV. Oh well, back to "The Gauntlet" on MTV and "Top Chef" on Bravo.
In other news, the hubby and I went to a UCLA event on Sunday. It was a viewing of the Harold Lloyd silent film classic "Safety Last", accompanied by a live organist. Actually a lot more fun that it sounds. Go figure.
