march madness

a quick shout-out to my wonderful alma mater Stanford. in a sign of complete ignorance to stanford's history in the tournament, my team was given a number 1 seed in the upcoming ncaa basketball tournament. this year (i suppose like other years), i'm hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. stanford seems to have a troubling knack for losing early in the tournament, no matter how good they are. but i would like to take this opportunity to suggest that if stanford does have to play john's syracuse team, i would like our mutual friends to please get us both good and drunk and make us play nice during the game.
