crazy business

this is one hell of a crazy business. for the past year i've told my parents that i wouldn't be able to join them for our huge family reunion getaway. lake powell. 2006. i have a job, i kept saying...one that i could not just take a week off from. so what's the chance that on a year-long gig, they would shut down the movie for ONE WEEK and it would just happen to be the week of the family reunion?! absolutely bizarre. so thursday night i'm dreading work next week and friday morning i'm booking a plane ticket. hollywood is weird.
